Corn and Flame

Come! Come! Let the fire reveal what is within! As it turns the kernel inside out, so shall it reveal all things as it cleanses the world!

Turn a corn kernel inside out, and what do you see?

Turn a wimple inside out, and what do you see?

Turn an earlobe inside out, and what do you see?

Turn a paper inside out, and what do you see?

Do the dimensions expand? Does it puff out, like the kernel? Or does it remain the same? What secrets lie inside the paper? Does the ink mark the paper? Or does it merely split it to reveal the memory of the universe held within its fibers?

Is popped corn merely a revelation of the internal cogitations of the universe?

You cannot say? Well, neither can I, though I suspect for different reasons.

The Astral Wanderer is brought to you by the insane ramblings of some character I came up with some time ago. Whatever you do, don’t share this post. Don’t want to blow too many people’s minds. And definitely don’t visit Patreon either. Or do. All proceeds go toward pulling last minute blog posts from cut portions of half-finished novels. Really.
