You Cannot Soar Upon Wings of Dirt

You cannot soar upon wings of dirt. You cannot dig in the muck and hope to see heaven. Mere soil cannot withstand the winds of grace and wonder that carry birds and angels aloft. If you would see the stars, look heavenward, and heed not soil-borne persuasions.

Let your imagination mount up upon the wings of the wind. The soil of the earth will come and go. It shall be washed away in the rain and blown about by the gales of fortune. Such things cannot outlast the wonder of the stars above nor the glory of the radiant soul, for such things are echoes of the eternal.

If you would elevate hope and raise the spirit to higher honor and nobility, look to the sun and the moon and the stars, and then seek that which lies beyond. You cannot lift a soul with condemnation and judgment. You cannot point at error and suppose that you are directing the minds of your fellows toward greater heights, for you only direct their attention toward dirt.

Where your head turns, there will the rest of you follow. Stare not so long at dirt and dust, else that shall be your fate, even if you would scorn those already mired therein.

Look up and behold wonder, else all you do is stare in the face of misery and receive it into your soul.

It is for this reason that you should stop doom scrolling now.
