A Problem with Rage

ugly dinosaur thing belching fire

Rage is what keeps me awake and alert, but I really do need to get some sleep.

Rage is what governs my thoughts, fuels my actions against the establishment (whatever that happens to be this month), but why isn’t anyone else as angry as I am?

If you only understand enough about a thing to be angry at it, then you probably don’t understand its full context. You don’t know it to its depths. You only know enough to excuse your own wrath.

Just let it go. Be at ease. Get some rest. Free yourself from the burdens of wrath and frustration, and listen to the singing of the birds in the trees and the wind through the leaves and the trickle of water down the brook.

If you can hear none of those things, then maybe it’s time to get out of the city. That place is trying to kill you anyway.

Really. Get out, and get a proper night’s sleep at long last.

Or don’t. Don’t let me tell you how to live your life.

The Astral Wanderer is bred by nonsense and frustration, but that doesn’t have to be your lot in life. Subscribe if you haven’t already, and let me be frustrated on your behalf! Life is more fun that way. Really.
